The Bravenet account manager is our custom tool for managing all aspects of your account - everything from changing your password, to creating a new website, to managing your domains, along with many more tasks, can be accomplished from the account manager.

To access the account manager, you need to log in to your Bravenet account. If you do not have an account, it's easy to get one!

All the articles related to the account manager can be found in the account manager category page - check there for more detailed information about any of the options.

Sections

You can easily access any section using the navigation tabs on the top of the page. Make sure you're logged in, otherwise these options will not be available! More detailed information on each section is available - just click on the appropriate header below.

Account

This page provides an overview of your account - what websites you have, which tools you have registered, and your personal information is all listed here.

This tab contains all the options you need to build and manage a website.

Website manager

This is where you do most of the work of creating and maintaining your site. You can access the website manager for a website by clicking its name in the main Account tab, or by clicking the "manage" icon for that website on the Websites tab.

Key Features
  • You can manage your files on your website in one of three ways on this page - with the file manager, with the FTP Applet, or through the text/visual editor.
  • New to web design? Try our website wizards, or build a site around our web templates!
  • You can view traffic statistics with the view statistics option.
  • If you need to make changes in how PHP is set up for your account, use the PHP Configuration option.
  • Select the "delete website" option to permanently delete your website. This is NOT reversible - be careful!
  • In some cases, you may need to know exactly where your website is on our servers (especially for PHP). Your storage path is listed at the bottom of this page.

Web Tools

We have dozens of web tools available for use on your websites. Most of these tools have both a free and a pro version. This tab is where you can manage your webtools - you can register any combination of web tools you wish here.

In addition, once you've registered a web tool, you can find more information on it and customize it to suit your website and your needs by selecting it out of the list.

Key Features

  • Register a web tool by selecting it from the "Unregistered Services" list.
  • Manage a registered tool by selecting it from the "Registered Web Tools" list. Find more information about each webtool at the webtools category page.
  • If you have the free version of a tool registered, you can upgrade by selecting the "upgrade" option in the service level column next to the tool name.
  • If you have a pro tool, and would like to renew it, select the "renew" option in the service level column.
