What is Hosting?
Web hosting companies, such as Bravenet, provide a service that allows you to provide your own website to people browsing the internet. Your website is located on our servers in a secure datacenter - we do all the work of caring for the supporting hardware and software.
In addition to providing a place for you to run your website, we can also provide email services.
We offer 2 different hosting solutions:
Free hosting:
- Advertising supported
- Limited features
- Your website would be accessed through a subdomain, for example example.bravehost.com
Paid hosting:
- No advertising
- Full featured
- Able to manage subdomains (i.e. example.bravehost.com) addresses as well as registered domains (i.e. www.example.com)
