Hosting

How do I create a website where I can use the file manager, or access an existing website where the file manager was used?

This can be done under the 'ftp hosting' tab in your account.

Can I move my website wizard site to BraveSites site builder?

At this time there is no way to move your site from the Website Wizard to BraveSites unless this is done by manually moving content and files.

What happened to the Website Wizard?

The Website Wizard is now only available for members who were already using it and it can be found under the site builder tab.

If you had never used the wizard in the past than you will not be able to use this feature, instead please use the BRAND NEW BraveSites Site Builder feature.

I have upgraded my hosting and I'm still seeing ads!

We are aware of this issue and will have this resolved shortly.

I can't access the SFTP applet!

We ask that you use any browser other than Internet Explorer while we work to resolve this issue.

Web Apps

I can't find where to manage my Blog (or other Web Tool)!

Log into your Bravenet Account. Click Web Apps at the top. You should see Blog in a box under "Your Web Applications"

The character limit for blog entries is 10,000 characters. Why?

This has always been the case, although there may have been a bug in the past that didn't enforce this properly. We are looking into this, but in the meantime we suggest you split your posts into parts.

Note: All HTML code counts towards the character count.

I'm seeing the following message: Message Forum has exceeded the maximum allowed number of posts. If you are the Message Forum owner, please consider upgrading your Forum Service.

If a higher message forum post limit is required, please renew the service and choose a higher post limit in the process. Alternately, old or unneeded posts can be deleted to make room.

BraveDomains

I'm not able to renew my domain.

Please check that your browser and security software settings are configured to allow this. If this is not the issue or issues persist, try clearing your browser cache and cookies, restarting your browser and trying again, or try an alternate browser or computer.

Final Thoughts
